Introduction
Participants are used to record any third party that is involved in your case, besides the Applicants and the lender. Example participants might be an introducer, estate agent, or solicitor etc.

- Head to your case
- Scroll down until you find the participants panel (Figure 1)

Figure 2 - Participants address book lookup - Simply type in the participant name you are looking for into the search box, select a participant type, or search by initial initial, if something is found then the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Any example result is shown in Figure 3 below.

- Once you have found the participant you are looking for click the 'select' link under the action column to add them to the case. Once clicked you will be taken back to your case, which should now display the participant you selected (figure 4)

Click 'Add Participant' you will be presented with figure 6 below:

Info title Tip It is always good housekeeping at this point to double check whether the participant you are looking to create is already in the address book, follow the steps in the previous section to do this.
To create a new participant click 'click here to create one' link you should see a screen similar to figure 7 below. The top half of the screen represents the participant's information their name, contact numbers etc. and the bottom half relates to the commissions aspect of setting up a participant. The minimum information you have to enter is a surname or company name for your participant. Once you are finished click the 'submit' button.

Once you have clicked submit you will be returned to the case, this will display the participant you have created.
