When your product is not proceeding for any reason, eKeeper allows you to set a 'Case Abandon Reason' against your product. This allows you to record a reason for the case not proceeding. Additionally when abandoning a case you can automatically move the case to a different stage. 

Setting up a new Case Abandon Reason

To begin find the 'system Settings' button that appears in your top navigation bar.

You should now see the system settings screen, find the 'product setup' section on the left hand side and click  the 'Case Abandon Reasons' link in that section

You should now see a list of case abandon reasons that are already configured in your system (figure 3 below).

If you would like your products to move to a particular stage when selecting this abandon reason, set the 'Move to Stage on case abandoned' drop down box to the desired stage.

Once you are finished click the 'Save Case Abandoned Reason' button in the bottom navigation bar.

Using a case abandon reason

Once you have a list of case abandon reasons to choose from you can start using them against your products. 

To begin open your case and find the product you wish to abandon by clicking on the tabs that appears beneath your applicants on your case.

Once the product has loaded look for the Application Details Panel.

Within this panel there is a check box called 'Case abandoned', check this box to continue.

To utilise your case abandon reason list, add the abandon date and then use the 'case abandoned reason' drop down box to select a reason. Add some text if appropriate and click 'save' on your bottom navigation bar. (See Figures 10 and 11)Image Removed
