Stage Prerequisites
Introduction
The system provides a prerequisites functionality to prevent a user from moving a product into stage until certain predefined criteria has been met.
System Settings > Product > Stages (button) > Set Prerequisites next to the stage.
The stage pre-requisites can be setup to require one of a few things:
Simple tasks
Supporting Documents
Quotations against related products
NOTE
Prerequisites prevent a product from entering into a stage, until certain criteria has been met.
Simple Tasks
Setup based upon a certain simple task(s) to be marked in a specific way.
In the example screenshot to the right, a product cannot be moved into the given stage unless:
The simple task “Initial Disclosure Document” has been marked as either COMPLETED
AND
The simple task “Fact-Find Completed” has been marked as PROCESSING.
You are able to
Have as many simple tasks set as prerequisites against a given stage.
Elect to have more than one simple task status as being acceptable
Have different choices by stage
Have different choices by product

Supporting Documents
Setup based upon a certain required documents marked in a specific way
In the example screenshot to the right, a product cannot be moved into the given stage unless certain documents have been received against the product:
Item Must be Received:
Name ID
Address ID
Income Verification
3 Months Bank Statements
Item Must be Received, If Requested:
Proof of Deposit
Previous Address History
Latest Mortgage Statement
Item Not a Prerequisites:
Company Audited Accounts

Complementary Products
Prerequisites can also be setup to ensure that a should a complementary product be added (if you utilise this feature) that a quotation has been generated, for a product has permission to move into the given stage.
