AML and Credit Search

To register for AML and consumer credit searches, you will need to register with us providing all appropriate information.
Information
eKeeper integrates with Experian for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and consumer credit searches using data already entered into the eKeeper case. AML uses a combination of Experian and OnFido verification to return a PDF AML report.
The consumer credit report uses Experian’s Credit Bureau providing a clear and concise snapshot of the client’s financial situation, detailing:
Mortgages and outstanding amounts
Secured Loans
Credit Cards
Unsecured Loans
Hire Purchases
Missed payments/CCJs/Bankruptcies/IVAs
Enable within System Settings
Once you have received confirmation that your credentials have been activated for your site, you need to go to: System Settings >> Users >> Edit >> Tick ‘Credit Check Enabled’ & ‘AML Check Enabled’
You need to repeat this for every user that wishes to use run credit/AML checks.
Now you’re good to go! running a credit check can be found when opening a Product, press Verify
How many AML/credit checks have we ran?
If you wish to access a audit of the credit/AML checks that have been ran on your site:
System Settings >> User Permission Groups & Set Permissions >> Edit >> Enable permission ‘Can access AML & Credit Check Summary’ >> Save & Close
Troubleshooting
More often than not, it is how the data has entered, that causes things to go wrong. This is especially the case when details have been copied and pasted into the fields.
Top Tip
After copying and pasting a value into a field, double check there are no additional spaces at the START or END of the pasted entry.
This can often happen for dates and text fields.
Date of Birth
Validate the format is DD/MM/YYYY
e.g. 08/06/1990
The DAY and MONTH value must be entered as two digits.
Please also ensure the YEAR is accurate, as a typo here will cause the system to not return any result, for example 01/10/1901, where the actual date should have been 01/10/1991
Current Address
Validate the applicants previous address, ensuring the minimum information has been entered:
Address Line 1
Town
Postcode
Country
Resident To Date
Previous Addresses
Validate the applicants previous address, ensuring the minimum information has been entered:

Town
Postcode

Resident To Date
Resident Since Date
Validate the format entered against the applicant current and previous addresses is DD/MM/YYYY

Date must exist
The date must exist/be valid, dates that don’t exist won’t be caught by validation and will prevent the search, eg. 30/02/22 , 31/11/21 .
