Using Chrome Extension

Whether you are editing a template or producing a document on a product, the process of using the extension is the same. For this guide we will be producing a document on a product

 

  1. Head to the Document History panel and click Produce Document

2. Click the checkbox next to the document you want to produce

3. Click Edit

4. Click the Download file for editing button

 

5. Once the document downloaded confirmation appears, click the Open file button.

IMPORTANT:

Please do not click on the downloaded file in the left of the chrome screen.

You must use the “Open File” button in the middle of your screen to open and edit the document.

6. Click Yes

7. To edit the document you will need to click Enable Editing

NOTE

The document will be down loaded in .RTF format (Please ensure the final version is saved in the same format).

You can edit the document with the word editor of your choice, as long as it can read .RTF files.

 

8. Once you have finished editing your document, click the SAVE ICON in the top left then close the window.

 

 

IMPORTANT

Please do not save your finished document in a new location, this must stay in the DOWNLOADS location.

 

 

9. Head back into eKeeper and click Save and close
