Change Email Address Burrow Portal automated emails

Introduction

This guide will help you customise the email address your customer will see when they receive their Burrow portal email communications.


Step 1 :

The first step is to decide what email address to use for the Burrow portal email updates. Most customers choose to have a dedicated address for the very purpose, for example portal.updates@yourdomain.co.uk alternatively you can use an existing email address.

Option 1 : Choose existing email address

You can choose an existing email address that you already have eg. office@yourdomain.co.uk or you can create a new dedicated email subdomain dedicated for this eg. portal.updates@yourdomain.co.uk

Once you have decided upon the address, please email our service desk with this information - broker.support@finova.tech , where a ticket change request will be created to update the back-end of your Burrow system.

Upon completion, you will receive an update containing the DNS entries that need to be added into your web domain admin account, this will need to be added by yourself or your IT support provider.


Option 2 : Create a new dedicated email address on a custom domain/subdomain

The first step is to decide what email address to use for the Burrow portal email updates. Most customers choose to have a dedicate address for the very purpose, for example portal.updates@yourdomain.co.uk

In the example above @domain.co.uk would be your own email domain name.

Step 2 : Email Finova Support to tell them the email address you have chosen

Once you have decided upon the address, please email our service desk with this information - broker.support@finova.tech , where a ticket change request will be created to update the back-end of your Burrow system.
