Using Search Views.

Introduction

‘Search Views' are simply the fields of information you’d like to see on your report.

Set your criteria, then pick the search view which contains the fields of information you’d like to see from those results.

This guide will describe how you can utilise search views along with reports you run to better display the information that you want to in your search results. The first step is to choose your search criteria to find the results you are looking for. Then you can utilise your search views to change what is displayed in your search results.

Create a Custom ‘Search View’

Finding search views

Search views can be found in two places

  1. Against the a product search criteria page

  2. Against the search results after running a search against a product

Click to your reports button, which appears under the left hand menu.

 

  • You will now see the reports dashboard.

 

  • To find your search views select a search button for the product group you are searching against e.g. New Mortgage Desk Search.

These are the ‘Product Groups’, they may have different names on your system, this area will still function the same.

To find out which Product Group a Product is in see SYSTEM SETTINGS >> PRODUCTS.

 

  • You will now see a product search homepage. This page allows you to select the criteria your require for your search.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the Criteria page you will see the ‘Search View’ selection.

  • Once you have set your search view and selected your filter criteria, click the search button in the bottom navigation bar.

 

 

Finding search views - Product search criteria page

Once you have performed a search you will see a list of results (Right). The results will be display according to the search view that is currently selected. 

  • To change the search view from here you need look to the top right corner of the page, which shows the ‘Search View’ selector box.

 

 

Tracking Page

You can change the of fields which are displayed for each Stage on the ‘Tracking’ page.

 

To change the fields displayed:

  • System Settings >> Products >> Stages >> Change
