How to create a new Task Status
To create a new Task Status, click the New Task Status button. This brings you to the editing page where you can:
- Sequence Status:Â Choose the order that the task status appears on the list
- Icon:Â Select the icon of the task status
- Task Status Text:Â Choose the name of the new task status
- Special Status:Â Select appropriate special status
- Stage Type:Â Select appropriate stage type
- Default Leadtime: Used when no leadtime is recorded against the lender or no lender is selected. Only applies to lead and normal stages.
- Show products on tabs:Â Choose whether you wish theÂ
- Set as Application Sent to Insurer:Â
- Applies to Products:Â Select which products you wish the new Task Status to appear against.Â

How to set Task Statuses against User Groups
It is possible to set specific task statuses to certain users, by the user group.
Newly created statuses can default to off (hidden) for other user group.
To control this user group view, follow these steps:
- Go to 'System Settings'
- Now select 'User Permission Groups & Set Permissions'
- Find the user group you wish to make a change against
- Under the column 'Â Set Permissions For', select the option 'Statuses'
- Toggle between Show/Hidden against each status
- Save you changes
