Introduction

This page will walk you through the function of each option on the Product Setup Page.



-Product Setup


Permissions Needed

  • The permissions needed should be covered by default ‘Super-User’ access, if you cannot see one of the options below in System Settings, then you can adjust your permissions via System Settings >> User Permission Groups & Set Permissions

Edit

This page allows you to make basic changes to the details of the product. 

  • Sequence Number - Change the order in which your product appears.

  • DescriptionAdd a brief description of your product

  • Default Tab Text - The text that appears on the tab, on the case.

  • Advance Recontact Time (months)Allows you to set the default recontact time.

  • Active - Once you have completed setting up the details of your new product, in order for it to appear on your case, ensure you have ticked the active box. If you no longer require the product, make it inactive by un-ticking the checkbox.

  • Show Product on TabsASDFASDFASDFASDFADSFASD

  • Product GroupSelect which group you would like your product to belong to. 

  • Reference Pattern Here you can set the reference description of the product.

Custom Fields

Part of your product is completely customisable by you. This is the Custom Fields panel. Here you can choose which of those fields are displayed or hidden.

You can add more fields and edit them via: 

System Settings > Custom Fields

Policy Types

This option allows you to decide whether the product is on a Advised or Non-Advised basis.

Purpose of Loan

This allows you to select the Purpose of Loan options that appear on your product.

To create and edit your Purpose of Loan's go to: 

System Settings > Purpose of Loans

Applicable Fees

Here you can select which fees are applicable to your product. You also have the choice to add the fee immediately when the product is added to a case. 

To add and edit your fees navigate to: 

System Settings > Setup Fees

Simple Tasks

Here you can select which Simple Tasks appear on your product. 

To add and edit your Simple Tasks navigate to:

System Settings > Simple Tasks

Supporting Document Categories

Here you can select which requirements appear on your product. You can choose which stage the requirement becomes necessary, or have the requirement appear immediately when the product is selected. 

You can add and edit requirements via the System Settings page underneath Customise your System.

Product Page Layout

Here you can decide how your product appears on a case.

When you add a product to a case, the application details of that product are divided into easy-to-read panels. With this page, you can arrange/hide those panels to suite your needs.

Repayment Methods

Here you can select which repayment methods you wish to be appear on your product.  

You can add/edit this list via System Settings > Repayment Methods

Lenders/Providers

Here you can decide which lenders and providers appear on your product. 

To add/edit this list navigate to Address Book > Lenders/Providers

Complementary Products

Here you can manage which products appear in the Related Products panel and how they behave within the product.

Permissions - View Profile

Here you can manage which user groups can view/edit specific fields within your product. 

A useful function of this page is the ability to compare the permissions of multiple user groups. Simply select the user groups you wish to compare from the drop-down boxes at the top of the page. 

Key

  • Eye with strike-through = No access, users cannot see the field 

  • Eye = View only access, can view but cannot make changes

  • Tick = Full access, can view and edit

Permissions - Custom Fields

Just as you can select which custom fields appear on your product, here you can select which specific fields are viewable/editable by specific user groups.

  • Eye with strike-through = No access, users cannot see the field 

  • Eye = View only access, can view but cannot make changes

  • Tick = Full access, can view and edit

Permissions - Stages

Here you can set the manage the product's stage permissions. To make changes, click the icons within the cells. This cycles through the 3 permission options. 

Key

  • Eye with strike-through = No access, users cannot see the stage or products in the stage

  • Eye = Search access, users can search for and view products in the stage.

  • Tick = Full access, users can view and move products to the stage

Permissions - Simple Tasks

Here you can update the permissions for each Simple Task and User Group. To make changes, click the icons within the cells. This cycles through the 3 permission options. 

Key

  • Eye with strike-through = No access, users cannot see the Simple Task or products in the Simple Task

  • Eye = View only access, users can see the Simple Task but cannot edit it

  • Tick = Full access, users can view and move products to the simple task
