    Introduction

    📝 General notes

    📝 Detail notes

I felt this interview wasn't really focused on the designs and proposed solutions, instead of providing feedback on our redesign ideas he shared a lot of insights on things that he struggles with, or he doesn't understand.

It’s important to say, that Daniel as a new user doesn’t understand lots of terms used in the system. It’s not up to date. We need to rethink labeling, descriptions etc. so it’s explicit also for new users

    1. Wizard

    📝 General notes

    📝 Detail notes

He’s confused with the definition of a Case, and he doesn’t think this term describes what it’s doing.

    • The flow is modernised and it’s aesthetic. The current process is messy, users don’t know what and where to click.

    • In their previous system they named cases “an opportunity”. He was confused with Case name and he understands it more as a Profile. He says Case doesn’t describe what he’s doing. Case is sort of a project name that you gonna be working on for e.g. next 3 months.

    • In terms of guidance on the right hand side, it definitely makes sense for new users to learn what is a case, and how to use them. However after like 2 weeks, it’s gonna be there for no particular reason, it’s will just become annoying

    2. Case Summary

    📝 General notes

    📝 Detail notes

Not much feedback here, he says that you don’t spend much time on Case Summary after a case is created

    • They mostly gonna use product page. He says that after a case is created, they never gonna see it again

    • Also they don’t use the Quote(s) or the Timeline. They use quotes, but in the Product view.

    • Actually Business Summary works as a timeline for him. It’s a definition of what a Timeline should be

    • Probably a lot of of people don’t use consent properly. There are no restrictions in the current system, so even if there’s no consent obtained, you can still send an email. For him it’s fundamental, and also modern brokers should pay attention to consent.

    • He would like to obtain consents in the beginning, but also he would like to be able to quickly edit consent if a client changed his mind during the process.

    • In terms of adding products, he just adds single product. Very rarely associated products. He doesn’t really understand it very well.

    3. Product

    📝 General notes

    📝 Detail notes

It’s a big improvement on a product layout.

Probably worth to mention that on his product layout all panels are full width.

    • He would like to have access to some broker contact details.

    • Grouping panels might help navigating on a product. It works great if you have access to some quick features without having to scroll the entire page to find a feature you were looking for

    • Notes are more important for him than the Timeline itself

    • He appreciates the ability to be able to move panels around, change their order etc.

    • He definitely agree that some panels shouldn't be half-screen width

    • In terms of quick actions, definitely notes is a proper choice

    • Would be great to have autosave. E.g. when you go to a different tab, it autosaves?
