'Having the UX team review the planned Apprivo2 Savings solution and provide their suggestions on how it perhaps should be developed has changed the journey into something that is completely customer focused and something that the whole Product and PE Teams are excited to be part of. The UX team have been crucial in helping us design something that will bring a fresh and sleek look to Apprivo2 and the Savings solution and can only make you wonder why we've not tried to do this sooner across all finova offerings'.

How we helped

The UX work we presented helped the Product and Development teams focus the project around consumer end users (a generic multi-ethnic, multi-aged, multi-gender user set with varying levels of digital affinity). Without further research effort to allow for a targeted UX effort around specific user empathic landscapes (needs and expectations) we took a general best practice approach to this complex data form. This involved segmenting the content in to logical sections that would allow the user to complete the task without being cognitively overwhelmed. In addition, guidance was provided at the outset to inform the user of the the average completion time and the required documentation. in addition, when presenting the form content to the user we designed the screens with a mobile first approach, allowing the form to be responsively portrayed to users across a range of devices from Desktop to Tablet to Mobile. Finally, a best practice UI design was applied that could be easily skinned to accommodate customer’s own brand guidelines.
