Introduction

This page will allow you to see the emails you have created by a bulk email communication. This will also provide you with a status report against each individual email.

User Permissions

The specific user permission needs to be enabled to allow users to see email queue.

Home > System Settings > User Permission Groups & Set Permissions > Click edit on the user group you wish to update

How to find the system setting

Navigate to the Bulk email queue settings page

Home > System Settings > Bulk email queue

How to use the email queue

When you get to the ‘Bulk email queue’ section you will have different drop downs for ‘Sent from’ ‘Status’ and ‘Created date’.

You can filter the search by choosing the required person in the ‘Sent from’ list.

After filtering the search you can then see the statuses of the emails in a bulk view.

Status types

There are 4 different status types.

  • Waiting

  • In progress

  • Success

  • Error

These statuses update every 15 minutes.

In the picture you can see that the emails were sent at 16:52:25 and the status is ‘waiting’.

After 15 minutes the status has changed to ‘success’ and the processed date is 17:00:10, which is approximately 15 minutes later.

The ‘waiting’ status means that the email is waiting to be sent.

Effectively the site updates every 15 minutes so for example, if a email was sent at 16:42 then it would be updated at 16:45.

In progress’ means that it is still being worked on to be sent.

Success’ means it has been sent.

The ‘error’ status means that there has been some trouble sending the email. Such as invalid email address.

If you hover over the marked red circle it will explain what error has occurred.
