Internet Explorer is Missing on Windows 10

Microsoft announced on May 19, 2021 that the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will be retired and go out of support on June 15, 2022, for certain versions of Windows 10.

There have been many reports by users where the Internet Explorer has been missing from their Windows 10 either from the start menu or from the whole computer. Here is something you can try to get Internet Explorer back on your computer until the app is retired.

 

 

1 - Press the Windows button on your keyboard

 

2 - Type/search for ‘Manage Optional Features’

 

3 - If Internet Explorer is already in this list, press uninstall.

4 - Press ‘Add Feature’

5 - Internet Explorer 11 may be still be available from this list.

6 - Search for ‘Internet Explorer’
