Introduction
This article lists all the available (standard) merge fields in the eKeeper CRM.
The merge fields listed here are standard merge fields only and do not include any merge fields that have been created through user customisation of the eKeeper CRM.
Using Merge fields
To utilise a merge field, simply find the one you wish to us from the sections below and copy the Merge field place holder and then paste it into your document template.
What are merge fields?
Merge fields are place holders for information. When setting up a template in your eKeeper CRM you have the opportunity to add a merge field place holder in place of some information you want to appear e.g. valuation amount, proc fee, applicants name etc. You can place as many merge fields as you like into your letter templates. Once you have built your template, and you produce it against a product.
Applicant Merge fields
Applicant merge fields contain information such as the applican'ts forename, surname, date of birth, contact number and much more. The following expanding links provide merge field placeholders for applicants 1 through 4 and also commercial company merge fields.

Recipient Merge fields
Recipient merge fields are context sensitive and come into effect when you click any of the letter or email symbols throughout the system 
. These can appear next to lenders, applicants and participants. Instead of the merge fields being associated with a particular field, the merge field placeholder is associated with the same piece of information across multiple ares.
For example if you used the <<RecipientName>> merge field placeholder in your letter template and then clicked the 
next to the introducer participant to product your letter, then it would be the introducer participant's name that would be populated into your letter. If you then repeated this process but clicked the 
next to the lender, then it would be the lender's name that would be populated into your letter.

Date, User and Branch Merge Fields
eKeeper CRM allows you to add date merge field placeholders to your document templates so that the date is populated into your letter automatically upon production of the letter. There are multiple date merge fields to choose from including today's date, today's date plus 14 days.

The following merge fields provide information relating to the user that is producing the document i.e. the logged in user. This should not be confused with the user who creates the letter/email template. Some of the merge field placeholders include, the logged on user's name, the user's signature etc, the user's phone number etc.
